Newport - John H. Chafee Pool

GENERAL INFORMATION:
I.D. Cards must be presented each time you enter the facility.  The pool is open for all authorized patrons, 16 and over - Active-duty personnel, Reservists, Retirees, and their Dependents, Veterans (100% disabled) and DoW civilians.  Contractors, Retired DoW civilians & Veterans (who are not 100% disabled) are not allowed to use fitness center. The six-lane pool is 25 meters long with an average temperture of 82°.  Locker rooms and showers are available for use. 

 

ADULT (18+) LAP SWIM FEES:
Free for Active-duty personnel, Retirees, Reservists, their dependents and DoW civilians.

**Active duty personnel, retirees, reservists, and their dependents may sponsor civilian guests for $5 each. DoW civilians may only sponsor their immediate family members for $5 each.

 

This MWR facility is open to Active-duty personnel, Reservists, Retirees, and their Dependents, Veterans (100% disabled) and DoW civilians.  Contractors, Retired DoW civilians & Veterans (who are not 100% disabled) are not allowed to use fitness center.  MWR has gone cashless, all major credit cards are accepted.
